I had been brought up to believe as a part of my religious education that "the devil cannot read your mind". The idea being that your thoughts are sacrosanct, only God knows our thoughts. I am not sure what the implications of this was supposed to be, but it served as a mark of divinity. So what does one do with this headline from

It is difficult to argue with the science. That is the way our Creator made us. The bigger issue is whether we wish to continue viewing Him as a bad parent who failed to raise one of his children properly resulting him him becoming the devil. How can we chastise others for failing as parents when our theology presents a God who did?
